Frameworks Jobsite COVID-19 Protocols
New Construction & Remodel Projects Spring 2020
To our valued subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners- Frameworks is committed to keeping all our job sites safe, productive, and accessible during this time. With so many unknowns about the spread of coronavirus and the outcomes for affected people, it’s important that we all remain vigilant and do our part to keep our industry moving forward. With that in mind, Frameworks is implementing the following policy for all active and upcoming new construction projects. Acceptance of these policies and procedures will be a requirement for continued work on all Frameworks projects.
1 | Only one work crew will be allowed to work inside a project at any given time, and only one work crew will be allowed to work on exterior scopes at any given time. We recognize that interior workers may need to step outside to get a tool, plug in a cord, etc, and that exterior workers may need to step inside for the same reasons. Contact with others should be minimized when these interactions are required, and at all times proper social distancing guidelines must be followed.
2 | If you are not scheduled to be on a project but need to stop by to confirm progress, check measurements, complete your scope, etc, it is required you contact Frameworks project management to schedule an appropriate time for those visits.
3 | If you, any of your staff, or anyone in you or your staff’s immediate social circle (family, caregivers, etc) is feeling unwell, you are not authorized to be on a Frameworks job site. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in loss of access to the job site.
4 | Frameworks has provided hand sanitizer on all job sites in portable restroom facilities. Use this sanitizer each time you are in and out of the restroom, and feel free to use this as needed throughout the day. Do not remove the sanitizer from the job site, and notify Frameworks project management immediately if no sanitizer is present on the premises.
5 | As always, it is required to immediately clean up and dispose of all food waste and cigarette butts, and to refrain from spitting.
6 | All vendors and employees working on Frameworks projects are encouraged, but not required to wear N95 masks.
7 | When working in occupied homes, dedicated construction access will be set up for each project. Only use this access, do not use other means of access into occupied homes. If no access is readily available, please contact Frameworks project management for instructions.
8 | When working in occupied homes, Frameworks will cordon off work areas and close off HVAC grills and returns in work areas. You must restrict access to only the work areas and not remove HVAC grill or return covers for any reason.
Thank you for your cooperation with the procedures in these challenging times. Let’s all do our part to keep our job sites open and our industry making progress.
